As a group, our staff represents well over a
century of hands-on expertise in all aspects
of dentistry. Which means that we're
well-versed in the many different areas
involved in running a top-notch
practice…from clinical skills to
organizational skills. And even aside from
our excellent technical training, you'll
find that our team brings a rare level of
energy and commitment to our work. It's
evident in our happy, outgoing attitude
toward each and every patient; and in our
diligent attention to detail throughout
every procedure.
We pride ourselves on our wonderful staff of
highly trained professionals, who always
make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and at

 Dr.
Ed Trizzino
Dental Practitioner
Dr. Trizzino graduated fourth in his class
out of one hundred from Emory Dental School.
For his commitment to excellence during his
time at Emory, he was accepted in Dental
Honor Fraternity OKU.
He has completed hundreds of hours of
continuing education, and is skilled in the
most advanced concepts and technologies
today. Dr. Trizzino is widely revered for
his expertise in cosmetic dentistry, and has
taught cosmetic veneer courses for a major
dental company.
He is a long-time member of both the ADA and
GDA. And, he is active with the Atlanta
Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Trizzino and his wife, Melissa (who he
still refers to as his “bride”) just
celebrated their 20 th wedding anniversary.
He describes her as one of God's many
blessings . They have four children, as well
as two dogs and two cats. Ed Trizzino enjoys
racquetball, tennis and golf.
The Trizzino family resides in Dunwoody, and
is a member of Northpoint Community Church
Sharlene Taylor
Dental Assistant
Sharlene Taylor-Pollard joined the Serenity
Dental family in June, 2005. Her dental
experience includes Endodontics,
Periodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. A
seasoned, multidiscipline dental
professional, Sharlene has served 16 years
in the dental field.
Sharlene enjoys swimming, dancing and
reading. And she is a die-hard Oakland
Raiders fan!
Sharlene and Eric, her husband of 19 years,
have teenage twins (a boy and a girl). The
family is active at Hopewell Missionary
Baptist Church, where both Sharlene and Eric
serve ministry positions.
 Vickie
Dental Assistant
Vickie has 20 years of dental assisting
experience. She has worked mostly in the
north part of Georgia, but now is a member
of our team at Serenity Dental. She is warm,
caring and compassionate, the comfort of the
patient is first and foremost. She helps
educate and instruct patients at their
dental appointment, to help them understand
homecare and special instructions as needed.
Vickie has attended many continuing
education courses that help the dental
practice and the patients. She takes pride
in the standard of care that we provide at
Serenity Dental.
Vickie enjoys swimming, horseback riding,
and spending time with her children.
Margaret
Front Desk Coordinator
Maggie is the friendly
voice that answers your calls. Her 30 years
experience makes here an asset to our team.
Most of the time she was a dental assistant,
however the last five years she has been a
Front Desk Coordinator. She has experience
in orthodontics, endodontics and general
dentistry. Through the years, she has taken
many courses that help further her skills in
patient care. She is skilled in filing
insurance claims and assisting patients in
maximizing their dental insurance benefits.
Maggie enjoys hiking, gardening and taking
care of her pets. We are fortunate to have
her knowledge, skills, and commitment to
excellence here at Serenity Dental.
